Weight Loss Aid Chromium Picolinate Helps Type 2 Diabetics
Researchers have discovered another natural fight against Type 2 diabetes: chromium, in the form of 1000 mcg of chromium picolinate. This appears to improve the effectiveness of oral diabetes medication.

Results from a new study in patients with type 2 diabetes demonstrate that daily supplementation with 1000 mcg of chromium as chromium picolinate, in combination with a common oral anti-diabetic medicationlinks, improves insulin sensitivity and glucose control better than the oral anti-diabetic agent alone.

The study found that chromium picolinate significantly reduced the weight gain typically associated with the use of a commonly prescribed antidiabetic medication.

Chromium is an essential mineral, important for everyone, but--apparently--now especially important for diabetics. To learn more about chromium picolinate and its effect on Type 2 diabetes (with both pro and con views), please visit here, here, and here.
