Walk to Cure Diabetes Raised $110,000

Yesterday (June 10), the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes was held at Beaver Lake Park (Victoria, British Columbia) and raised a whooping almost $110,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
The said event was joined by crowd of almost 600 people, among them were Olympic rower Chris Jarvis (26 years old) and nine-year-old William Van Den Broek - a Grade 4 student and an avid soccer player, who was JDRF's official ambassador last year.
