Victoza® (liraglutide) Received EU Marketing Authorization

Novo Nordisk's prime diabetes drug called Victoza® (liraglutide) has now received narketing authorization by the EU.
Victoza is the first once-daily human glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analog developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and is now authorized in all 27 European Union member states for:
- combination treatment with metformin or a sulphonylurea in patients with insufficient glycemic control despite maximal tolerated dose of monotherapy with metformin or sulphonylurea, and
- combination treatment with metformin and a sulphonylurea or metformin and a thiazolidinedione in patients with insufficient glycemic control despite dual therapy.

i have been using victoza for one week and my glucose level have come right down and no side effect

I have been using victoza for 2 weeks now and my glucose level have come down, bur late n the afternoon the level is bey low(3.5). Some times I feel very dizzy andI am very fatique. But I think these side effects will dissapear.

I have been on Victoza since August 3rd. I made life style changes to go with it. NO Cokes since that day. No candy bars, etc. I have lost 53 pounds and am loving it.
