RESPeRATE: Over-The-Counter Device, Lowers Blood Pressure In Diabetics
Filed in archive Diabetics' Device on March 9, 2009

InterCure Ltd. recently announced that their device, RESPeRATE, significantly lowered blood pressure in non-insulin dependent diabetics. The study will be published in the May issue of the Journal of Human Hypertension.
- RESPeRATE is a device that is clinically-proven to lower blood pressure and reduce stress through paced breathing therapy. In fact, it is the only non-drug over-the-counter treatment device cleared by the FDA to lower blood pressure.
- Using musical tones, it enables users to quickly, and without training or effort, change the pace and pattern of their breathing to reach a therapeutic breathing zone (of less than 10 breaths per minute) that reduces blood pressure and stress, all in about 15 minutes a day, just a few times per week.
- RESPeRATE is backed by 10 published clinical studies. Here's the science in a nutshell: Within a few minutes of using the device, the muscles surrounding the small blood vessels in the body relax, constricted blood vessels open up, and that allows blood to flow more freely, yielding a significant and lasting reduction of stress and blood pressure.
