Popular Desang Diabetes Kitbags Feature New Model

There's no reason diabetes has to be all dreary. Take the colorful and fun-yet-functional Desang Diabetes Kitbags, designed for children but enjoyed by all ages. Now there are even more options available.

The latest model is a version of the Slim is in blue plastic with a transparent, personalisable window on the front. This can be used by children, young adults (and their parents) to make the kitbag look they way they want them to.

Beth Golding (pictured) is now eight years old. She's had insulin dependent diabetes since the age of four. She loves her kitbag and says, "I think my kitbags is really fun. I have a dragon in it right now, but if I change my mind I can change the picture. I put everything in it I need with me for the day."

Beth's mum, Juliette, adds, "These kitbags are great. As a mother of a child with diabetes, when she was younger I'd to administer her blood tests and injections. Now Beth is at school, she can do it all herself. Having a kitbag makes it easier, and she thinks the bag is cool. Her teacher likes it as well. If Beth feels a bit funny, her teacher knows what to look for and how to help her test herself and take something sugary if she needs to, which is an additional bonus."
