On Eating Regular Meals

Do you eat at regular times? Or are you the kind that take meals on such irregular schedules?

Karolinska Institutet scientists have recently shown that eating regular meals reduce the risk of developing insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome.

Scientists at Karolinska Institutet have now, for the first time, showed that the frequency of meals, regardless of their content, affects the chances of developing Metabolic syndromelinks.

The study, which was based on a survey and medical examination of over four thousand 60-year old men and women, shows that irregular eating is associated with a higher risk of metabolic syndrome.


This information will also benefit people will diabetes.
