Filed in archive Resources on February 12, 2006

Changing voices, changing bodies, changing views of the world...a teen's life is complicated enough. Often a time of confusion and alienation, the teen years are difficult for everyone. But what if a teenager is living with diabetes? Will life be even harder?
It doesn't have to be. Diabetes does not have to hold anyone back or make them feel like an outsider, and teenagers are banding together to spread the word.
A wonderful new website, Diabetes Teen Talk, offers encouragement, experiences, and a kind ear. The site also features teen role models who live with diabetes, such as pro surfer Scott Dunton.
It's never too early in life to raise self-esteem and feel wonderful. Head over to Diabetes Teen Talk with your favorite teen today.
