New Drug May Cure Type 1 Diabetes
So say researchers, at least. The new drug is called rituximab, and works by 'preserving' a patient's insulin cells.

"It has implications both in terms of prevention as well as achieving a cure," explained pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Henry Rodriguez, of indiana universitylinks School of Medicine.
