NAD: The Missing Factor in Diabetes, Now Available as NutriNAD Capsules
Filed in archive Treatment on August 20, 2007
The absence of NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) in the pancreatic beta cells results to the inhibition of important cellular functions including insulin synthesis and secretion.
Suffice to say that the deficiency of NAD will lead to diabetes.
Now, NAD is available as supplement in capsule form which is commercially available as NutriNAD capsules - a product of Alkogen Products in South Africa.
"The fall in NAD inhibits cellular functions including insulin synthesis and secretion, and thus the beta-cell ultimately dies. We subsequently proposed that maintenance of the NAD level is essential for the synthesis and secretion of insulin."
NutriNAD is listed with the Medicines Control Council of South Africa as complementary medicine and is available even without prescription.
[For effective treatments take capsules with soda carbonated water to increase absorption by 400%. Ready to use as and when and where you require it. Use daily to maintain continuous optimum NAD levels.]
However, it is preferred (to be on the safe side) to discuss intake of NutriNAD with your endocrinologist.
