NASCAR star Kenny Schrader did his part to help support diabetes research by making a special appearance for devoted fans in Cleveland Tennessee. $5,000 was raised for Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

"When my daughter Whitney was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes I took a crash course on the disease. We wanted to raise money to raise awareness and help fight it and this is what we came up with," said Cleveland Speedway promoter Monty Morrow. "Other than running later than we wanted it to the night was a huge success. The credit for making it all happen goes to everyone at Check Into Cash, US 101, Kenny Schrader, the local media outlets and

Cleveland Speedway's dedicated fans, racers and employees."

Five rides with Schrader were auctioned off to bring in the money. This will become an annual event. A huge 'congratulations' goes out to everyone involved. Way to go!
