Is your FBS normal?

Thank God my FBS (fasting blood sugar) level turned out normal!
Now let us remind ourselves what our blood sugar levels mean. According to the guidelines of the American Diabetes Association (ADA):
Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) or Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG) test
- From 70 to 99 mg/dL (3.9 to 5.5 mmol/L) = Normal glucose tolerance
- From 100 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L) = Impaired fasting glucose (pre-diabetes)
- 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) and above on more than one testing occasion = Diabetes
Find out more about diabetes, from the ADA website.
My thighs and legs aren't painful anymore but the muscles still get numb and stiff. And when that happens, they seem to lose their strength. In turn I cannot even stand up. Now my doctor ordered serum potassium to be taken.
Actually, I already suspected hypokalemia (low blood potassium) but I do not want to go ahead of my doctor.
But then the hypokalemia thing is a different story.
