Well, pager-like anyhow. The small insulin pump is fitted with a device that provides a constant, time-monitored injection of insulin. It's on the market now.
(The)Latest device to join the bandwagon is an insulin pump which can be programmed and customised accordingly. The device automatically delivers a constant rate of insulin to keep glucose levels in the desired range between meals and overnight.
Perhaps it's not revolutionary, but it's nice to be able to 'forget' your diabetes once in a while.
