The American Diabetes Association (ADA) has awarded the prestigious American Diabetes Association (ADA) Education Recognition Certificate for quality diabetes self-management education programs to Greenwich Hospital.
To earn this distinction, Greenwich Hospital along with Bridgeport Hospital and Yale-New Haven, all members of the Yale New Haven Health System, voluntarily submitted to a rigorous review process conducted by experts in the field of diabetes.
The diabetes education programs were evaluated for the ability to provide patients with a comprehensive, individualized outpatient education program as part of their diabetes management.
It's good to know that hospitals get serious with their diabetes care/education program.
Greenwich Hospital is a 174-bed community hospital affiliated with Yale New Haven Health System serving Fairfield and Westchester counties in Connecticut.
