Diabetes often has a devastating effect on the eyes, and people often experience vision problems before receiving a diabetes diagnosis. Some don't realize the two are related, and let diabetes go undiagnosed for far too long.

We should all heed the advice of this doctor, and schedule regular eye exams, for our overall health.
