Experts Around The World Agree: Healthy Lifestyle Key To Fighting Diabetes
No matter who you ask these days, the solution is nearly invariable: to fight Type 2 diabetes, adopt a healthy lifestyle. This is apparently more effective than any medicine.

"Diabetes can be managed by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, dietary control, proper medication and regular monitoring of blood sugar levels," said Akram, who is also the Accu-Chek brand ambassador, a company associated with innovation in diabetes care worldwide.

Akram, a world-renown cricket whiz who developed diabetes early in life, recently started a program rewarding children who change their lifestyle to improve their diabetes. Further spurred by alarming data that India will be the "world's diabetes capital" by the year 2030, Akram considers it his mission to spread the message of good health.

It's certainly a worthwhile message, and one we need to remind ourselves of daily.
