Erectile Dysfunction May Indicate Future Heart Disease
It is a common though rarely talked about disorder among men, and now may serve as an important warning sign. Research now shows that Erectile Dysfunctionlinks may be an indicator of future heart disease. This is of special importance to diabetics, as many diabetic men will suffer from both conditions.

Obesity, hypertension, smoking and diabetes also were associated with risk of erectile dysfunction.

In another study, researchers report that men with erectile dysfunction may have more severe cases of coronary heart disease and more risk factors for adverse outcomes than those without erectile dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction is a stronger predictor than traditional coronary heart disease risk factors in this population," they conclude. " Sexual function questioning may be useful to stratify risk in patients suspected to have coronary heart disease. Further studies are needed to establish whether patients with erectile dysfunction but no cardiac symptoms should be screened for overt coronary heart disease."

Please take special precautions such as proper diet and exercise, and be sure to tell your doctor if you experience erectile dysfunction.
