Jaakko Tuomilehto, professor of Public Health at the University of Helsinki, said studies in his country found people who consumed more coffee were less likely to develop type 2 diabetes.
Those who consumed three to four cups of coffee cut their chances of developing the disease by nearly 30%, studies found, while women who drank up to 10 cups a day or more reduced their risk by 79%. Men who drank 10 or more cups of coffee a day reduced their chances by 55%.
Hmmm....too bad I already gave up coffee!
