A woman recently wrote to an expert in diabetes, concerned that because of her recent Type 1 diabetes diagnosis, she would 'pass on' the disease to her child, or have poor health and be unable to care for her baby.

As these are concerns many people have, I thought it would be nice to showcase this letter.
