As well as achieving success in his sport, White has another goal: to counsel children with diabetes. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes eight years ago, the student athlete never considered it a setback.
"I've had [diabetes] for eight years," White said. "I'm an active kid. I fish and hunt, play soccer. I do not let it stop me."

and attitude.Do you know a person (including yourself!) who works to inspire others, who doesn't consider diabetes a weakness? Please share with us in the Comments section!
