Diabetic Soccer Star Displays Winning Attitude

High school senior Austin White is a top pick soccer goalie for numerous colleges. Despite the attention and praise, White manages to stay grounded, and inspire others.
As well as achieving success in his sport, White has another goal: to counsel children with diabetes. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes eight years ago, the student athlete never considered it a setback.
"I've had [diabetes] for eight years," White said. "I'm an active kid. I fish and hunt, play soccer. I do not let it stop me."
He certainly doesn't. With more than 42 wins including 31 shutouts to his credit, White is a powerhouse in both athletics and attitude.
Do you know a person (including yourself!) who works to inspire others, who doesn't consider diabetes a weakness? Please share with us in the Comments section!
