Cooking Well with Diabetes

What: Cooking Well with Diabetes (a four-part series)

When: 7: 30 PM, June 14, 21, 28 and July 12, 2007

Where: Calvary baptist church, Family Life Center in Fairfield

This event is being organized by Texas Cooperative Extension in order to help local residents learn how to plan and prepare meals which can both be enjoyed by people with and without diabetes.

The series will include not only cooking demonstrations but also discussions of research findings on diabetes - including the variety of foods that diabetics can enjoy eating.

The classes cost $10 which already includes a cookbook and snacks. For more information on Cooking Well With Diabetes, contact the Freestone County Extension Office at 903-389-3436. Class size is limited to 30 participants, hurry and sign up as soon as possible.
