Today I got the following email from Nicole Fine of FiveHumans:

I am writing to you about a company that I started with my husband and a few friends. The company is called FiveHumans.

The company was conceived post my husband's Type 1 diabetes diagnosis. After numerous dialogues sharing diabetes with others, he felt there was a need for an additional way to promote conversation and education surrounding his disease and many other taboo topics.

Today our goal is to spark conversation, spread knowledge and help humans display their advocacy in style. We have given ourselves the self-appointed task of curing ignorance through hip fashionable clothing.

FiveHumans currently offers t-shirts for a variety of causes, including Asthma, Autism, Cancer, Diabetes and Heart Disease, with 10% of the sale price of each shirt going back to a related non-profit.
