Can Type 2 Diabetes Be Reversed?
This has long been a hot topic of debate among physicians and patients, diabetic and non-diabetics alike. Some people consider it an insult, as it suggests developing Type 2 diabetes is the patient's 'fault.' Other rejoice at the possibility of being able to take control over their health.

The medical profession certainly seems in favor of the statement, as evidenced in yet another article on the subject.

"Diabetes is the topic of the moment. Diagnoses are increasing exponentially and we are seeing Type 2 diabetes in kids as young as eight or nine," Ms Dean said.

"We have seen research that with exercise and diet changes the condition can be reversed.

"We know that most times people have five years with the disease before they become aware of the damage it has done to their macro vascular systems and organs such as their liver and pancreas."
