Beaver Dam Community Hospital Sponsors Diabetes Health Fair

The Beaver Dam Community Hospital sponsors a community health fair focused on the importance of active management and treatment of diabetes.

The event, free to anyone wanting to learn more about diabetes, will be held on Monday, April 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Beaver Dam Community Hospital conference center (use the main entrance):

• at 6:30 PM, Dr. Seth Barudin from Randolph Community Clinic will talk about making the most of your doctor appointment and working toward target blood sugar goals


• participants will have the opportunity to visit booths containing free samples from vendors as well as pick up diabetic education information


• Certified diabetic education counselors at Beaver Dam Community Hospital will offer diabetic management and education

On top of these, a monthly diabetic support group is offered for all diabetics and those interested in learning more about diabetes.

No registration will be required, the support Group will meet at Beaver Dam Community Hospital on the third Monday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. Call 887-6609 for more information on the support group.
