In honor of November, National Diabetes Month, education is being celebrated. It's shocking how many people still don't recognize--or choose to ignore--the symptoms of diabetes. Things you may consider 'normal,' such as being tired, can in fact be a symptom of diabetes. Please be vigilant!

In addition to fatigue, other symptoms that may accompany hypoglycemia and indicate diabetes include sweating, dizziness, headaches, shaking, impaired vision, anxiousness and irritability.
