Aussie researchers have done it: 'cracked the insulin code.'
A team of researchers at the national science agency CSIRO have mastered a molecular structure that has thwarted many laboratories worldwide for two decades.
The breakthrough, reported in the international journal Nature, has been compared with the three major scientific discoveries surrounding insulin, each of which involved Nobel Prize winners.
It's truly amazing to see how diabetes research is developing. Is there a possible future free of all types of diabetes?
