Recently I published the post On Sugar Addiction.

SO I find it quite timely that I found the column Ask the Doctor, where the question: Is craving sweets a sign of diabetes? - was answered.

According to Dr. Bharat Sangani:

...craving sweets does not mean you have diabetes but that also does not mean you do not have a problem. You need to visit a dietitian or buy a book on balanced diet and see if you can return your eating habits to normal.
