airforce® Nutrisoda® Partners with Jay Hewitt to Drive Diabetes Awareness

Tri-athlete and Ironman competitor and type 1 diabetic Jay Hewitt has partnered with Ardea Beverage Company - the makers of airforce® Nutrisoda® - in promoting diabetes awareness.

Hewitt will be Ardea's national spokesperson to promote positive healthy solutions to those living with diabetes. Hewitt has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1991 and since then has taken a proactive stance towards his condition. At present, Hewitt is not only an Ironman competitor and member of the U.S. National Team for Long Course Triathlons, but also a professional motivational speaker.

Also, the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston has recently named Hewitt the captain for Team Joslin - a group of individuals supporting the Joslin's High Hopes Fund. Hewitt is also an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
