After School Snacks For Diabetic Children
Filed in archive Diet on September 29, 2006
Raising awareness of diabetes in children is crucial, both for management and prevention. But there's a lot to consider, and hard choices to make. This article helps by suggesting healthy after school snacks for children.
Here are some of coleman's favorite after schools snacks: Smart Portion muffins, Hershey 100 calorie pack, Quaker Breakfast Bars with reduced sugar, plain peanut butter, 100 calorie min bags of popcorn, fresh fruits and vegetables and wash down with skin milk.
And it wouldn't hurt for adults to try them, either!

type 1 diabetes can not be prevented it is an autoimmune disease where the bodies immune system attacks the islet cells in the pancreas so causing diabetes the only diabetes that can be prevented is type 2 and is a totally different disease.
